Who’s hungry? Here’s our list of top spots in Jeffersonville, Vermont to grab a quick bite, sit down for a nice dinner, or something in between. If you’re a dine-out for every meal kind of traveler, we’ve got you covered. If you’re a cook in the cabin and keep it lowkey, don’t worry, that’s why we’ve got fully stocked kitchens for you. Sterling Ridge Resort is located off the beaten path, and we’ve equipped each of our cabins with a full kitchen and all the things you need to cook, but that doesn’t mean our guests don’t have access to great restaurants. If you decide you don’t feel like cooking while on vacation, check out one of our favorite local restaurants below!

Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch!

158 Main Restaurant is a local favorite spot for breakfast and lunch.  Enjoy a delicious omelet stuffed with your favorite fillings or deep-fried french toast made from homemade baguettes topped with Vermont maple syrup for breakfast. Order a delicious club sandwich with homemade bread or a fresh cobb salad for lunch. With yummy coffee, mimosas and bloody marys, it’s an amazing stop for brunch too! A Salg family favorite!

Casual Dining Near Sterling Ridge

With seasonal menus, Martell’s at the Red Fox has it all. Everything from a burger and fries to veggie stir fry, seafood dishes, and pulled pork topped mac & cheese. It’s a family-friendly environment, and they even have live music on select nights in the summer at their outdoor venue! They even have Sunday brunch!

Moogs Joint best food in Cambridge Vermont

The Village Tavern is another local hit for great food. One of our favorite menu items is their french dip sandwich made with fresh prime rib.  Enjoy local beers on draft and outdoor seating in the summer. It’s a great spot to watch the game, hang with friends, and enjoy a relaxed environment.

Brewster River Pub & Brewery is a popular spot to stop after you hit the slopes! While it’s busiest during ski season, they are open year round. They have delicious barbecue platters, chicken wings, sandwiches, and more. With delicious daily specials, local beers and wines, and a pub vibe, it’s a great place for friends and family to enjoy lunch or dinner.

The Burger Barn is a local staple! This cute, little trailer serves over 30 different specialty burgers packed with big flavor. Their burgers and sandwiches are made from locally sourced beef, and toppings include everything from Vermont cheddar and apples to a fried egg and hash browns! Take your burger to go, or enjoy their outdoor picnic tables.

Looking for that local pub vibe? Check out Moog’s Joint! They have an awesome drink menu, great wings, burgers, and more! It’s a laid back vibe with a full bar. Perfect for a lowkey dinner out after a long day of adventure.

Crowd-Pleasing Takeout Near Me

My Favorite Things is located right on Main Street in Jeffersonville, and has a unique food truck-style menu with yummy things like Nashville Hot Chicken and a Food Truck Burger. They even offer milkshakes and homemade desserts if you want something sweet!

Rusty’s Pizza & Pie is a crowd-pleasing dinner option! Rusty’s has great pizza, along with other great menu items like calzones, meatball subs, salads, and sandwiches.  They even offer gluten free crust! Not only do they offer reliable takeout, but they have a small dining area in their restaurant. 

Upscale Dining in Vermont

Upscale Dining in Jeffersonville VermontIf you need a romantic night out, we highly recommend checking out the Hearth & Candle.  They have an elevated menu, filled with locally sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. They even have a dining area with a lovely fireplace that is perfect for a cooler night. Enjoy a crisp glass of wine and stunning appetizers, and end your meal with decadent desserts at this fine dining establishment.

Looking for a carefully curated menu or Italy-style wood-fired pizza? The Family Table is the place for you. With delicious soups, salads, main dishes, wood-fired pizza, and yummy cocktails, there is something here for everyone’s taste buds.  Some of our favorites include the scallops and chicken and waffles drizzled with Vermont maple syrup.

Quick Grab-N-Go Bites

Sometimes, on vacation, you are on the go and need something quick. The Farm Store is a great stop! They have a coffee bar with yummy espresso drinks, teas, and more. They have daily made pastries and desserts, along with locally sourced breads. They often have soups, chili, wraps and sandwiches ready to go. Lots of healthy options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and organic products and produce. 

The Cupboard Deli is another great pit stop. With tons of different pre-made sandwiches and wrap, along with made-to-order options, The Cupboard is a great place to grab a quick bite before you head out on a hike or before you make the trek home. Enjoy their creemee stand (that’s what Vermonters call soft-serve ice cream) during the summer! A maple creemee is an iconic Vermont staple you must try!
