Start your day off with a Sterling Morning Basket, complete with Vermont maple syrup and pancakes! After a hearty breakfast, enjoy exploring Sterling Ridge Log Cabins. Start with a walk on our trails – our favorite is the Pond Loop. Start your trek right from your log cabin and head onto Pond Loop to Warnken’s Path. On this journey, you will circle our 14-acre pond. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a walk in the woods to enjoy Vermont’s pageantry of color. Another favorite walk is heading up Main Line to Camp Loop, down Max’s Run. On this walk, you can see the pop of red on Vermont’s beautiful sugar maples!
After breakfast and your morning hike, continue your fall romance with a drive along one of many Vermont roadways. Cruise Vermont RT 108 through Smugglers’ Notch State Park into Stowe and pick up some fall gifts in one of Stowe’s many shops. From Stowe, you can follow Vermont RT 100 – a popular Byway of Vermont – and check out Cold Hollow Cider. Cold Hollow offers fresh cider, cider donuts, and Boyden Valley Hard Cider. Want to stay away from “the masses” for your fall romance? Try heading up toward Jay, Vermont. From Sterling Ridge Log Cabins, take Vermont RT 108 North and loop your way back down via 100. No matter which way you choose, you will have a scenic front row view to the colors of fall.
