Long before its transformation, The Roost was part of a beloved family farm. The kitchen, filled with rooster-themed décor, served as a warm and welcoming hub for family gatherings.
When the Salg family took on the renovation, they knew they wanted to honor the home’s roots while creating a modern, cozy getaway for guests to enjoy. The name “The Roost” is a subtle nod to that past—a place that was once a farmhouse, now a retreat for relaxation. Today you’ll still find some of the beloved rooster decor throughout the farmhouse.

The Salg family, along with the talented team at MH Building, poured countless hours into every detail—restoring, reimagining, and perfecting the space. From preserving the charm of the original structure to incorporating modern comforts, their goal was to create a home that feels both timeless and inviting.
