Sterling Ridge Resort welcomes all guests. Due to the varied ages and historical nature of our 30+ buildings, complete ADA accessibility may not be feasible in all areas. However, we are committed to ongoing efforts to improve accessibility while preserving the historical significance of our property.

Accessible Accommodations

Our property includes a 1 Bedroom Cabin (#22) designed to be fully ADA-compliant. This cabin features an entry ramp, wider doorways, a roll-under vanity, grab bars in the bathroom, a transfer shower, and a lower kitchen countertop to ensure accessibility.

To provide the best experience for our guests, we discuss their specific needs prior to booking. If the ADA-compliant cabin is required, we will assign this unit to them. In cases where the ADA cabin is not available or not required, we will identify and assign another suitable unit, such as one with minimal stairs and ample parking.

Physical Barriers

Accessibility varies across our units. While most cabins are single-floor, some are multi-level homes with stairs. Certain non-ADA-compliant cabins offer notable accessibility features such as entry ramps and single-floor layouts. To ensure your selected unit meets your needs, please contact the resort directly before booking to discuss any potential barriers.

Please note that our common areas are not wheelchair accessible. The Main Office has one step to gain entry, the Game Room has interior stairs, and the pool area has one small step. Additionally, we do not have designated handicapped parking.

Commitment to Accessibility

We work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:

• We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations and visit during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
• We have identified and described the features of our venue in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether it meets their needs.
• We ensure that an accessible lodging accommodation is held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other lodging accommodations of that type have been rented.
• Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the property afforded to those without service animals.
